HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation has been selected by Forum ETHIBEL for inclusion in the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Registers. Forum ETHIBEL is an organization headquartered in Belgium that promotes socially responsible investment^*1.

The registers consist of corporations that perform better than average in their sector in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR)^*2. Corporate activities are assessed in terms of human rights, human resources, environment, business behavior, corporate governance and community involvement. Mazda's selection for the registers indicates that its initiatives in these areas are highly regarded.
