Ingasco Receives Supplier Excellence Award 2005
from Analog Devices, Inc.
Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is a semiconductor manufacturer
particularly known for its digital signal processing (DSP)
integrated circuits. As its name indicates, ADI also
manufactures analog (linear and mixed-signal) ICs, and its
technology in this field is on a par with the best in the
world. Ingasco, Inc., a subsidiary of Taiyo Nippon Sanso
Corporation (TNSC), supplies liquid nitrogen to the two
ADI group plants in the Philippines
―
operated by Analog
Devices Philippines Inc. (ADPI).
The awards are divided into twelve categories. An
award is presented for each category to the supplier
company judged to have achieved the best performance in
that category. Suppliers nominated for consideration for
the awards include companies based in many parts of the
world, most notably the United States, Europe, Taiwan,
Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore.
This year, Ingasco was the only Philippine company
among the nominees, and received the award for top
supplier in the category of Local Site Support. This award
demonstrates that Ingasco’s advanced technology and
excellent services are on a world-class level. The company
was judged to have fully fulfilled its responsibilities to
its customers.
Ingasco has achieved a strong reputation for its
ingenious proposals to the Philippines semiconductor
industry (which is suffering from stagnant business
conditions) on risk-avoidance and other crucial issues, as
well as its reliable provision of information.
The awards ceremony was held at the Island Shangri-La
Hotel, in Hong Kong, on February 14, 2006. The ceremony
was attended by representatives of ADI’s business partners
from all over the world, including suppliers nominated for
awards. The Supplier Excellence Award 2005, Global
Standard, in the Local Site Support category, was accepted
for Ingasco by President Norikazu Ishikawa.
