New corporate branding after the split

Chubu Electric Power Company hereby announces its new corporate branding, including company names and logos of all companies including the holding company, to be adopted after the absorption-type split scheduled for April 2020.

2. Corporate slogan
むすぶ。ひらく。（Musubu.Hiraku. in Japanese）
Our new corporate slogan depicts our desire to explore human potential and future （ひらく。Hiraku） by connecting people to people, people to society and technologies to technologies （むすぶ。Musubu）.
We are amassing corporate-wide strength, even after split, to strive to “fulfill our unwavering mission” of delivering a stable supply of good-quality, environmentally friendly energy safely and at an affordable price. At the same time, we will take that mission as the foundation for our ongoing challenge, which is to “create new value” with an eye to the changing times and to provide services that exceed our customers’ expectations, thereby emerging as an “irreplaceable presence” for customers and local communities.
