Fast Retailing Support for People Affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake

Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. offers its heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on January 1. The company would also like to express its gratitude for the tireless work of everyone involved in relief efforts and in helping people to rebuild their lives, and wishes for everyone's safety and a speedy recovery.
Fast Retailing which operates UNIQLO and GU, will provide the following assistance for the people affected by the earthquake:

1) Clothing assistance
Immediately after the earthquake occurred on January 1st, Fast Retailing prepared a total of 100,000 UNIQLO and GU items for delivery to the disaster areas (including innerwear such as HEATTECH and STYLE-HEAT, and much-needed warm clothing such as Ultra Light Down) .
Deliveries so far:
- In response to a proposal from UNIQLO store staff in the disaster area, a total of 4,433 items were sent to Nanao-shi (Ishikawa Prefecture) on January 4th.
- A total of 1,200 items were sent to Suzu-shi (Ishikawa Prefecture) through the NPO, Peace Winds, Japan on January 5th.
Additionally, Fast Retailing has registered on the Ishikawa Prefecture relief supplies website, and is ready to provide clothing assistance as soon as requested by the prefecture (a total of 30,000 items are planned).
Fast Retailing will continue to respond to requests from local governments, NPOs, NGOs, and other support organizations.

2) Monetary donations
Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. will donate a total of ¥100 million (Japanese yen) to ADRA Japan, Peace Winds Japan, and Save the Children Japan, which are involved in providing emergency assistance in the disaster areas.
Fast Retailing will continue to engage in support activities that are needed around the world.
