Azbil to Co-sponsor Theme Weeks at Expo 2025 (Osaka, Kansai, Japan)

TOKYO, Mar. 27, 2024: Azbil Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange code: 6845) has announced that it will be co-sponsoring Theme Weeks at Expo 2025 (Osaka, Kansai, Japan).
As part of Expo 2025, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition has organized Agenda 2025, a series of interactive programs and exhibitions that will take place in conjunction with Theme Weeks. Azbil will assist in spreading the message based on the Expo 2025 theme, Designing Future Society for Our Lives. We will also be using this opportunity to demonstrate to a wide audience, in Japan and overseas, how the azbil Groups automation business is contributing in series to the realization of a sustainable society.

Theme Weeks

Theme Weeks are an initiative that takes advantage of the special characteristics of a World Expo, an event where countries from around the world gather at one location for six months, applying their combined knowledge and experience to finding solutions for global issues through dialogue. The aim is to create, in collaboration with people across the world, a future society where life can shine brightly. Each Theme Week will tackle a different global issue. Joining together to explore solutions in a dialogue program will be the organizers and official participants, the Japanese government and municipalities, participants in co-creation projects, Expo participants such as exhibiting companies, as well as representatives of local governments and industries from across Japan. There will also be business exchanges to promote concrete action.

Agenda 2025

This series of interactive programs and exhibitions, with multiple sessions per theme, will be spearheaded by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition to spread the message from Expo 2025 to the world. Being a transverse project, it involves a wide variety of stakeholders, including official participants, the Japanese government and municipalities, TEAM EXPO, and exhibiting companies, including Azbil Corporation.
