MMI, a member of the Nippon Steel Trading Group, has been certified as a “Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Bright 500)” for the second consecutive year.

MMI Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "MMI”), a group company of Nippon Steel Trading Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "our company”), is engaged in the design, manufacture, installation, and after-sales support of industrial cranes and automated transportation equipment. MMI has been certified as a “Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization 2025 (Bright 500).” This marks the second consecutive year that MMI has received the Bright 500 award.
This program is promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. Out of 19,796 small- and medium-sized enterprises that applied in this fiscal year, the top 500 companies were selected for the Bright 500.
MMI believes that “actively supporting the health of our employees and their families leads to long-term human resource utilization.” In addition to regular health checkups, MMI conducts various health screenings such as for gastric cancer, gynecological examinations, and dental checkups, making efforts to prevent diseases and aggravation of illnesses. Another distinctive feature of MMI is the implementation of unique annual events and activities that encourage employees and their families to work together towards better health.
By regularly providing opportunities for employees to engage with their health, MMI has successfully increased awareness around health issues and achieved a 100% participation rate in regular health checkups every year. Through these efforts, the company and employees work together to promote health management.
At our company as well, we have been certified as a “Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category)” for six consecutive years under the same program. In April, we established a new “Health Promotion Section” within the Human Resources Department, dedicated to professionally supporting employee health, further strengthening our commitment to health management.
Going forward, our group will continue to promote initiatives that contribute to maintaining and improving employee health, aiming for the sustainable growth of our company group.
