Regarding Cybersecurity Incident at an Overseas Subsidiary

We have recently discovered that our overseas subsidiary, FURUNO U.S.A., Inc. (hereinafter, FUSA), experienced a cybersecurity incident that involved some of its on-premises servers.

FUSA is currently working with external experts to investigate the scope of the incident, implement recovery measures, and review the information that was involved as quickly as possible. Please note that this incident has not impacted the operations of Furuno Electric Co., Ltd. or any of its other overseas subsidiaries.

This incident is unrelated to the Unauthorized Access to Our Server (Final Report) announced on September 30th.

We sincerely apologize to our customers and stakeholders for the concern and inconvenience this may cause. Taking this incident very seriously, we are committed to further strengthening our information security to prevent recurrence across the FURUNO Group.
