Cancellation of Plan to Operate Theater in Osaka


URAYASU, CHIBA— Oriental Land Co., Ltd. has announced that the plan to lease and operate a new theater in Osaka has been canceled with the agreement of the three parties concerned. The theater was to be located in a large-scale, multi-purpose building in the west area of Osaka Station to be constructed jointly by Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. and West Japan Railway Company.
Having been informed that the development schedule for the west area of Osaka
Station was under re-examination with no fixed date for completion, Oriental Land Co. concluded that continuing with the plan was problematic. Accordingly, the decision was made to cancel the plan.
