VTR-A Series Double Column Machining Centers
The VTR-A Series builds on Okuma's high rigidity, high accuracy double-column machining centers that have earned the respect and trust of users. With low vibration and high accuracy rotation is used for the An integral motor/spindle milling tool spindle. The turning spindle table uses big bore cylindrical roller bearings and thrust bearings, and the milling tool spindle has a highly rigid ram construction. VTR-A Series machines are the best machines for production facilities that demand high efficiency and environmental applications, such as those manufacturing for the transportation and energy industries. The VTR-S Series has four models with table diameters of 1250, 1600, 2300, and 3000. These machines also provide powerful machining capacity, with turning capacity of 10 mm2 (ram projection 600 mm) and milling capacity of 317 cm3/min (ram projection 550 mm) when using S45C material.
