Oriental Land Co., Ltd. passed a resolution to retire its own shares under the provisions of Article 178 of the Corporation Law at the board of directors’ meeting held on April 28, 2009. 1. Type of shares to be retired: Common stock
2. Number of shares to be retired: 4,200,000 (4.42% of total outstanding shares before
retirement)
3. Date of retirement: May 12, 2009
(Reference) A. Total outstanding shares after above retirement is projected to be 90,922,540 shares. B. Total number of own shares after above retirement is projected to be 3,176 shares.
