Tokyo Disney Resort Merchandise Recall

URAYASU, CHIBA— Oriental Land Co., Ltd. has announced the recall of two types of cookies produced by Colombin Co., Ltd. which were sold at shops within Tokyo Disney Resort. Colombin Co. reported that these products were being recalled because they had discovered during the inspection of the production line that plastic pieces were mixed in with the sliced almonds used as an ingredient in the cookies. Sales at Tokyo Disney Resort of the two types of products containing the suspect ingredient were immediately suspended upon receiving notification and it was decided to recall the products that had been sold.
The possibility of the purchased products being adulterated is very low because the
problem was discovered during the product inspection under the manufacturing process. However, to completely ensure the safety of our guests, both Colombin Co. and Oriental Land Co. decided on the product recall. To date there has been no report from Resort guests regarding adulteration of these products.
Oriental Land Co. sincerely regrets the inconvenience this has caused our guests.
Guests who have purchased these products and have them in the ir possession are requested to send them with the packaging, together with their name, address and phone number, to the address below with the postage to be paid by Oriental Land Co. A refund will be sent at a later date. Cooperation in this recall effort is greatly appreciated. Please see attachment for details.
