RC Japan, Co., Ltd. Opens a New Restaurant BUENA COSTA 129

A consolidated subsidiary of Oriental Land Co., Ltd., RC Japan Co., Ltd. (51% investment by Oriental Land Co., Ltd.) opens a new restaurant BUENA COSTA 129 at a shopping center STELLA TOWN scheduled to open April 28, 2004 in Saitama-shi. To date, RC Japan Co., Ltd. has been operating, under a franchise agreement with Rainforest Café Inc. in the United States, the first RAINFOREST CAFÉ (inside IKSPIARI at Tokyo Disney Resort) in Japan and will now open a restaurant with a different style: BUENA COSTA 129. In addition to RAINFOREST CAFÉ, which is a franchise business, RC Japan Co., Ltd. will operate an even more diverse restaurant business by starting its original restaurant: BUENA COSTA 129. BUENA COSTA 129 is an original barbecue restaurant operated by RC Japan Co., Ltd. The restaurant is designed in an image of a seaside cottage and its style is different from that of RAINFOREST CAFÉ. BUENA COSTA 129 offers grilled cuisine such as steak, brochette, etc., as well as a curry-flavored Caesar’s salad, fresh ham sliced from block meat and a wide variety of risottos to provide guests with wonderful moments. Furthermore, a dish characteristic of the restaurant, “Parrilla (mixed barbecue),” is served on a stainless steel plate which is heated by charcoal in a fashion of a portable clay cooking stove typically used in Latin America, so guests may enjoy their meal while it’s warm.
