URAYASU, CHIBA—
Oriental Land Co. announced today that two new attractions will be added to
Tokyo DisneySea Park in the fiscal years 2005 and 2006. One attraction will be a roller coaster with a vertical 360-degree loop and the other will incorporate a free-fall element. Since opening in September 2001,
Tokyo DisneySea Park has enchanted millions of guests with its themed ports filled with adventure, romance, imagination and fun. The addition of these two attractions is intended to increase the enjoyment of guests visiting the Park.
Projected to open in fiscal 2005, the roller coaster attraction (named undecided) will
be the first such attraction at
Tokyo Disney Resort to feature a vertical 360-degree loop. The attraction, located in the themed port of Lost River Delta, will offer guests a thrilling experience on a high-speed ride through special effects employing fire and water. A total of 8 billion yen will be invested in the attraction. Also, a new counter-service restaurant will open adjacent to the attraction.
The other new attraction,

Besides these two new Tokyo DisneySea attractions, a new attraction based on the
Disney film Toy Story
will open at
Tokyo Disneyland Park. As previously announced,
Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlasters will debut in April 2004.
