Delivery of the Street Emergency Report System to Prefectural Governments
Consisting of the Super Crime Prevention Lamp and Emergency Report Device for Children
-Expanding sales networks for creating a safe and secure environment- Ikegami Tsushinki Co, Ltd. started the delivery of the Super Crime Prevention Lamp in 2001, and continued delivering nine units of the Super Crime Prevention Lamp and four units of the Emergency Report Device for Children to prefectural governments until 2004.
The Super Crime Prevention Lamp and the Emergency Report Device for Children constitute the street emergency report system. In the event of an incident or accident, you can press the emergency report button on the crime prevention lamp installed on roads and in parks. The device enables you to talk with a police officer through the intercom. Crime has been increasing nationwide, particularly on streets and in parks targeting women, children and the elderly. In response, the National Policy Agency initially installed these devices in ten regions across the nation. The installation of these devices is expanding to create a safe and secure environment.
Ikegami has been working on the development of security cameras for approximately forty years. We introduce our products internationally by applying our advanced image technology and network technology accumulated for many years. Currently, our security systems are operated in Japan and other parts of the world. Many prefectural governments plan to install the Super Crime Prevention Lamp and the Emergency Report Device for Children in fiscal 2005.
In addition, Ikegami is offering an omni-directional camera system from this fiscal year. This system uses fish-eye lenses so there is no blind spot in the recorded videos. The system enables complete surveillance without missing anything. It is perfect for the emergency report system on the street. We will actively expand sales in the future.
