Test-Market Area for the Japan Market set to Expand in April 2011

Tokyo, Japan—Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Taro Iwamoto) announced today that it will gradually expand the test-market area in Japan for the brand Gerblé of the functional and dietetic food maker Nutrition & Santé SAS (Head Office: Revel, France) throughout the Kanto, Tokai and Kansai regions starting in April 2011. This will add an additional 15 prefectures to raise the total test-market area for Gerbléin Japan to 18 prefectures.
