New Tsubaki Free Curve TH500 Overhead Conveyor System
New competitively-priced, lightweight, compact conveyor system for medium-capacity loads
Tsubakimoto Chain (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan. Chairman and President: Takashi Fukunaga) is pleased to announce the addition of the new medium-capacity Tsubaki Free Curve TH500 to its Tsubaki Free Curve TH Series of overhead conveyor systems. Sales of the new product will commence April 1.
An overhead conveyor is a conveyor system that is suspended from the ceiling to make efficient use of space. It continuously conveys items that are suspended on hanger chains running on rails that can be installed freely through three-dimensional spaces.
Tsubakimoto Chain's Tsubaki Free Curve TH Series consists of four models (TH015, TH030, TH050, and TH300) that are capable of carrying light- to medium-capacity loads of 15 to 120 kg per hanger for applications with allowable chain tension of between 1,500 to 7,000 N. The company offers conveyor systems to suit a variety of conveyed materials and applications, providing the rivet-less TR Series - the high-end model of the TH Series - and the TH Multi-drive Series for medium- and heavy-capacity use in which allowable chain tension exceeds 7,000 N.
The Tsubaki Free Curve TH500 was developed in order to expand the scope of possible applications offered by the TH Series. It allows the creation of low-cost, space-saving conveyor systems that are compact and easy to maintain, even when employing chain tensions in the range of 7,000 to 10,000 N.
Features
- Lightweight, compact layouts
Compared to earlier rivet-less models, the Tsubaki Free Curve TH500 allows the bend radius of vertical curved rails to be made one-third more compact and does not require roller turntables or other accessories on horizontal curved rails; factors which help keep the overall cost and size of facilities to a minimum. - Total cost savings
The lightweight, compact design of the new system has greatly simplified installation procedures and also helps limit the size of facilities. It offers cost savings of approximately 20% on earlier models. (Including installation costs.) - Expands the range of possible applications for the TH Series
The general-purpose TH Series can now be used for applications involving maximum chain tension of 10,000 N, allowing efficient selection to suit application.
