Suspension of Withdrawal service
at PowerFlex yen savings account
to prevent unauthorized use of the account

In order to prevent unauthorized transactions, Shinsei Bank will suspend withdrawal transactions in light of Chapter 10 of the Common Customer Agreement on PowerFlex Transaction. Withdrawal suspension will be made at the Bank-designated time without advance notice.
Deposits, direct debits, and other services will continue to be offered.

PowerFlex accounts that meet all three of the following conditions will be suspended:

• No withdrawal, deposit, or other transactions for 12 months, except for transactions of interest settlement on savings.
• The account holds only yen or foreign currencies savings deposits or PowerYokin.
• Account balance of less than 1,000 yen in total.
  As for foreign currency deposits, the yen equivalent calculated at the Bank-designated exchange rate on the suspension date shall be adopted.

Those who wish to restart a withdrawal service are requested to call the call center, Shinsei PowerCall, at 0120-456-007 by themselves.
