Measures for the recovery of the gas business in the areas impacted by
the Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake
Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. announced today that it has set up a disaster management
headquarter for the recovery of the gas business in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture,
where saw a major damage by the Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake which occurred
on March 11, 2011. The company also decided to send 236 members today to the area
for the recovery of the gas supply.
The gas business will be fully recovered within 10-14days except in areas where the
impact of the earthquake was severe.

3.Status of Production Facilities
・ City gas productions at the three LNG terminals are as usual.
・ The gas leak at the Sodegaura LNG Terminal has been fully restored.
・ Hitachi Production Facility is currently not operating due to power outage.
