[Comment by Masakatsu Hioki, Senior Executive Officer, Komatsu Ltd.]
"The Komatsu Group is supported by many top-notch engineers. This is also true for Japan as a nation of manufacturing industries. We have established the scholarship fund with firm convictions that no students should have to give up studying or lose their future opportunities to study because of this disaster. I am hoping from the bottom of my heart that the recipients of our scholarships will study hard to support Japan's manufacturing by overcoming all difficulties of this disaster and believing in a bright future for Japan."
