Notice of Changed “Non-Working Days”

We would like to offer our sincere sympathies to the people and areas, which suffered the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Concerning the shortage on power supply caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, some industries and companies are considering “rotating non-working days”. The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. dedicated to solve this issue by rotating its non-working days to Thursday and Friday instead of ordinal Saturday and Sunday from July to September.

JTEKT follows this decision to secure power supply for Japan during summer, and our non-working days will be changed as follows.

Some staffs will work on Thursday and Friday depending on the situations.
