Notice of Revisions to Prices of Wheat Flour and Secondary Processed Flour Products for Home Use

Nippon Flour Mills Co., Ltd. (Chairman, President, CEO & COO: Hiroshi Sawada, hereinafter the “Company”) announces that it will revise the prices of wheat flour products for home use as well as pre-mixes and pasta, starting with those to be shipped from (Friday) July 1, 2011.
Against the backdrop of soaring international prices of imported wheat, the government sales prices were raised by 18% from April 2011 and the prices of durum wheat, a raw material for pasta, are also rising. Costs are rocketing in step with the price hike of indirect materials, etc. The Company has put forth the utmost efforts in dealing with the price increases but has reached a point where it is difficult to further absorb them. We are committed to making greater efforts to reduce costs and provide high-quality, safe and secure products. We appreciate your understanding.

Category of products subject for price revisions and the percentage of change in the suggested retail price
■Wheat flour for home use up 3%-7%
■Pre-mixes for home use up 2%-5%
■Pasta for home use (OHMY brand) up 3%-8%

For wheat flour products to be shipped from (Friday) July 1, 2011
