Volunteers from INPEX assist with recovery from
the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, and the recent natural
disaster in Niigata (August 2011)

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) is supporting its employees who volunteered to assist with recovery work from the Great East Japan Earthquake and the recent natural disaster in Niigata Prefecture. The followings are the results of the volunteer activities in August 2011.

Assist with recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami:
- Number of Times : 6 times
- Place :Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture
Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture
- Organizational Affiliation : Head Office, Niigata District Office, Akita District Office Teiseki Topping Plant Co., Ltd (※)
- Total Number of Participants : 41
- The details of the Activities : Removing debris, Mowing the grass, Supporting events etc.

Assist with recovery from the natural disaster caused by torrential rains in Niigata Prefecture on 29 July:
Number of Times : 4 times
Place : Ishima District Aga Town, Nagaoka City, Tokamachi City, Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture
Organizational Affiliation : Niigata District Office
Total Number of Participants : 44
The details of the Activities : Removing the dirt in the houses, Clearing side ditch, Clearing up litter etc.

Total number of participants who volunteered in August 2011: 85
