The Norinchukin Bank Makes Eiraku a Consolidated Subsidiary
Tokyo, September 30, 2011 ---The Norinchukin Bank (the Bank) today announced that Eiraku, Co., Ltd (Eiraku) has become a consolidated subsidiary (a 87.97% voting right after the acquisition) subsequent to the acquisition of shares of Eiraku by the Bank.
Eiraku has been the primary supplier of outsourcing services for the Bank. It has assumed administrative services which include cleaning and security of the Bank’s facilities as well as meal and other services (Premises-related services). Eiraku will be able to focus its management resources to the premises-related services for the Bank, by becoming a consolidated subsidiary. We believe that the event will bring about greater efficiency to the business operations of both Eiraku and the Bank.
The Bank plans to outsource premise-related operations in full scale to Eiraku in and after October, 2011.
