Noritsu enters the LED lighting equipment market offering LED Lighting Products with a significantly extended lamp life.

Noritsu Koki is pleased to announce that we are entering the LED lighting equipment market with a breakthrough product. In it’s over 30 years as a leader in the imaging market, Noritsu has always taken pride in designing and manufacturing environmentally friendly products.

Now, through its wholly owned subsidiary, NK Works Co., Ltd., Noritsu continues to pursue products in line with their environmentally conscience core values. The Noritsu Advanced LED Lighting System utilizes a new type of LED module that has a longer life, emits less heat, has a better quality of illumination, and uses significantly less power than traditional lighting commonly used in retail stores, signage, and outdoor lighting.

While many LED products are in the works, the first products being brought to market are recessed and surface mounted LED Lights used for commercial lighting.

The general public and government have accepted the need to use environmentally safe products. Noritsu expects an increasing demand for LED Lighting from corporate offices, retail stores, warehouses, government facilities, and all other large commercial buildings. Our LED products reduce CO2, save energy, and are safe to use, while providing a substantially extended lamp life.

Noritsu Advanced LED Lighting System accomplished increased LED efficiency through the use of COM (Chip on Metal) technology in which an LED is mounted directly onto an aluminum base creating a much slimmer and energy efficient LED that emits higher light quality. LED’s are more commonly mounted onto traditional circuit boards.

Compared with fluorescent lighting (with equivalent light output), the product can reduce power consumption by 55% (*2).

The Noritsu Advanced LED lighting fixtures are the same dimensions as commonly used commercial florescent fixtures; no ceiling renovations are necessary for a retrofit.

A higher quality of light achieved: Ra.82 (*3)

LED’s are flicker free and produce even color and illumination compared to standard florescent lamps. .

(*1) The effective lifespan of an LED is considered complete when the illuminance decays to 70% of the initial value.

(*2) Savings is based on a 2 x 40-watt lamp florescent fixture compared to a Noritsu LED fixture with the same light output

(*3) Color Rendering Index (CRI or Ra) is a measure of the light bulbs’ ability to render colors relative to a standard of 100.
