Order Received for an Incineration Facility for Ikusan City in South Korea

This will be our 7th order in South Korea and our 13th overseas】
We, Hitachi Zosen Corporation, recently received an order for a stoker-type incinerator
(2 furnaces at 100 tons per day totaling 200 tons per day) for Ikusan City in Korea. For this project, Daewoo Construction (Korea) received an order from Ikusan city for the construction of a large-scale urban incineration facility, and we will be handling the basic design of the equipment related to the furnaces, primarily, the fire grate which is the heart of a stoker-type incinerator, as well as the detailed design of the boilers. We will also be supplying hardware such as dust feeding equipment, fire grates, and fireproof tiles, and will be dispatching supervisors to the project.
This project marks our seventh order for Korea, and reflects the high level of regard
held for our company's exceptional technical know-how. This know-how results from our experiences in providing products to waste incineration facilities at about 180 locations throughout Japan and through our superb record of incinerator operation, as well as the high regard held for the company's record of constructing and operating a total of 12 projects in Taiwan, Korea and China.
Our aggressive development of solution-model business focuses on administrative
consignment and AOM (Aftersales service, Operation and Maintenance) through PFI, primarily in Japan, with the provision of biomass-related hardware such as equipment for manufacturing bio-diesel fuel.
