Weathernews Enables Users of the Orange High Speed Network to Experience Weather Like Never Before

Using high speed CDMA network technology combined with simple plans and low flat call rates, Orange provides customers with the best value mobile service in the Australian marketNow, with access to Weathernews content, Orange users are able to make more proactive decisions on how weather affects their plans. From 4 day forecasts for all capital cities, major towns, sporting facilities, airports, and golf courses from around Australia and the latest local conditions, in addition to the latest Coastal Forecasts issued by the Commonwealth Bureau of Meteorology, Weathernews content makes this a reality.

More importantly, Orange users can create a unique weather page - "My Weathernews" on their handsets. Via a simple setup, the user can select a "My Weathernews" location, which will then display that location's 4 day forecast and latest conditions as their very own weather page. Weathernews 4 day forecasts show not only expected weather conditions, but also expected maximum and minimum temperature, chance of rain, as well as sunrise and sunset.
