Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd. today announced that, in relation to its intention to acquire shares of Shin-Kobe Electric Machinery Co., Ltd. (First Section of TSE and OSE: 6934), by way of a tender offer, it has amended certain contents of “Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd. to Commence Tender Offer for Shares of its Listed Subsidiary, Shin-Kobe Electric Machinery Co., Ltd.” announced on November 25, 2011.
