Tamron adds the 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC (Model B011) high-power zoom lens for the Sony mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera^*1 series to the line-up of lenses with the new aberration correction function for photo management software Photoshop Lightroom® 4

March 7, 2012, Saitama, Japan -Tamron Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Morio Ono / Headquarters: Saitama City), a leading manufacturer of optical equipment, announced today the addition of the 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC (Model B011) to the lens profile offered with aberration correction functionality for the photo management software Photoshop Lightroom® 4, all developed and offered by Adobe Systems Incorporated.

The lens profile includes Tamron's Di series (lenses for full-size image sensors), Di II series (lenses for cameras with APS-C size image sensors), and now additionally the first of the Di III series for lenses for the Sony mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera series, the 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC (Model B011). The lens profile will be bundled with Photoshop Lightroom® 4.
With the new lens profile, customers who own Tamron's 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC (Model B011) interchangeable lens will be able to utilize the above software for easy correction of lens distortion, chromatic aberrations and peripheral brightness based on design data ^*2.

Future lenses are expected to also be included in this profile.
