Tsubakimoto Chain to Release New Series of Tsubaki RS Roller Chains: G7-EX Series
Double the service life and 33% better transmission capacity in all sizes
Will help lower cost and reduce CO2 emissions
Tsubakimoto Chain (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan. Chairman and President: Takashi Fukunaga) will release the G7-EX Series on June 1--a new lineup of RS roller chains that will expand the range of compatible sizes of the G7 Series of Tsubaki RS roller chains. G7 is Tsubakimoto's mainstay product lineup of power transmission chains.
The G7-EX Series
Since gaining JIS compliance in 1953, Tsubakimoto Chain's RS roller chains have always been designed for the highest levels of quality, with model changes every ten years. Since its release in 2006, the seventh model change (G7, for 'Generation 7') has been used in a wide variety of industries.
G7 models feature high-precision solid bushings, and are designed for the four sizes (RS80 to RS140) with the greatest need of improvements in wear life and transmission capacity. In response to large user demand for a wider range of sizes (RS40 to RS60 and RS160 to RS240), G7-EX supports all RS roller chain sizes (eleven sizes ranging from RS40 to RS240). The series expansion will provide benefits to a wider range of users by lowering costs and reducing CO2 emissions to help reduce environmental impact.
Features
- New high-precision solid bushings double wear life
Tsubakimoto has developed high-precision, cold-forged seamless bushings with lube dimples* encircling bushing inner walls. Created by machining technology, the lube dimples improve bushing wear resistance. They double bushing service life and greatly help reduce user maintenance cost.
*Lube dimples: Grooves on bushing inner surfaces created by an original Tsubakimoto machining technology. Hold lubricant oil to enable longer lubricant retention. Featured in RS80 to RS140 models (patented).
Solid bushing with lube dimples
- 33% better transmission capacity
G7-EX models improve transmission capacity by 33% relative to previous models. This improved performance allows downsizing by one size for some applications, further helping lower the user's total cost.
