Tamron adds the SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A007) for Nikon high-speed standard zoom lenses for full-size image sensor cameras to the line-up of lenses with the new aberration correction function for digital image editing software Adobe ® Photoshop ® CS6, Camera Raw (a Photoshop ® plug-in),
and photo management software Photoshop Lightroom ® 4

October 3, 2012, Saitama, Japan - Tamron Co., Ltd (President & CEO: Morio Ono / Headquarters: Saitama City), a leading manufacturer of optical equipment, announced today the addition of the SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A007) for Nikon lenses to the lens profile offered with aberration correction functionality for the digital image editing software Adobe ® Photoshop ® CS6, Photoshop's raw image plug-in Camera Raw, and the photo management software Photoshop Lightroom ® 4, all developed and offered by Adobe Systems Incorporated.

The lens profile will be bundled with the Camera Raw 7.1 update and Photoshop Lightroom ® 4.1. With the new profile, customers who own Tamron's SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A007) for Nikon interchangeable lenses will be able to utilize the above software for easy correction of lens distortion, chromatic aberrations and peripheral brightness based on design data.*1

By installing the latest version of the Adobe DNG converter, customers who use Photoshop CS5/Lightroom 3 will also be able to use the lens profile for the SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A007) for Nikon lenses.
