Comprehensive optics manufacturer and leader company in security industry, announces development of 4models of fixed-focal lens that is compatible with 6-Mega-pixel machine vision camera.
The Development Concept
In recent years, demand of higher resolution camera is increasing for machine vision application such as PCB production, various inspection machine and engineering device.
Tamron has developed and supplied the Mega-Pixel fixed-focal lenses for machine vision lens for many years, and this time, we newly developed 4 models of fixed focal lens that is compatible with 2/3" 6-Mega-Pixel machine vision camera, achieved to enhance our lineup to add these new models which unable to accommodate our customer's request.

- Maintain high resolution from the center to the peripherals.
- Realize super low distortion
- Keep higher relative illumination at the peripherals.
- Change iris shape to improve performance at small aperture
- Reduce extremely less purple fringe
- Anti-Vibration and High Durability Design
- Have focus and iris lock function
- New Design for focus and iris lock function for higher durability against vibration. The new lock design adopts locking both vertical and horizontal directions.
- Use metals parts for mount and other parts of lens, which results in high durability against vibration. The mechanical structure enables the lens to maintain the initial performance even for a long term usage
- Further improvement in operation and user-friendliness
- Common iris mechanical design is adopted for the lens series. Open/Close can be operated with similar operation
- Iris/Focus Lock Screw position can be selected from 3 positions
- Focus adjustment operation gets easier with wider adjustment angle
- The lens series are designed with same diameter, and commonly used for same application.
