Notice of Executive Officer's resignation

Nippon Suisan Kaisha (Nissui) today announced that Volker Kuntzsch has tendered his resignation as Executive Officer, President of Nissui U.S.A. and King & Prince Seafood Corp. effective October 31, 2013.

Mr. Kuntzsch has been with the Group for almost 6 years, initially based in Tokyo as Global Marketing Director and subsequently in the US to primarily manage the turnaround of King & Prince Seafood. His personal circumstances have now led him to accept the CEO position at a New Zealand based fishing enterprise.

Nissui are thankful for Volker's role in supporting Nissui's path towards globalization and appreciates his leadership at King & Prince. He shows us his gratefulness toward his experience in working at Nissui group and the support he receives.

Nissui wishes him every success in his new responsibility.
