Opening Two New Manufacturing Plants in India

Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hitachi Chemical") announces that its subsidiaries, Hitachi Chemical India Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "HCIN"), a powder metal products manufacturing company, and Allied JB Friction Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "AJF"), a friction material manufacturing company, which are both located in Neemrana Industrial Area, Rajasthan State, India, held the opening ceremonies at each respective site.

The ceremonies were attended by about 200 people from an embassy of Japan in India, Indian government, customers, and others. Hitachi Chemical's president Tanaka, senior vice president Tsunoda and Nomura also attended ceremonies, and conducted ribbon cutting to inaugurate the opening of the both plants.
HCIN has started operation since August 2013, and AJF is expected to begin operation in November 2013.
