INTER ACTION Concludes Business Alliance with WAKASA OPTICS
The Board of Directors of INTER ACTION Corporation on September 18, 2008, approved a resolution to establish a business alliance with WAKASA OPTICS Co., Ltd. in the solar panel manufacturing equipment business. Details are as follows. 1. Purpose of the business alliance
INTER ACTION’s main business operations are in the field of semiconductor testing equipment, with a primary focus on illuminators for testing CCD/C-MOS imagers. The Company is fanning out from this core business and working toward making a full-scale entry into the solar panel manufacturing and testing equipment business, in a lateral development from the expertise in optical technology that the Company has acquired over its years in the industry. With the rapid worldwide development of the crystal and thin-film solar panel market, the Company faces the potential risk of missing the market window if it attempts to develop new and original products with its limited staff numbers.
On the other hand, WAKASA OPTICS has, for many years, been engaged in the design, development, and manufacture of precision instruments, particularly optics-related equipment. Like INTER ACTION, its strength lies in its expertise in optical technology, and it also carries out the development and manufacture of testing equipment alongside the manufacture of optics-related products within the solar panel manufacturing equipment business.
This business alliance will utilize the strengths of both companies, contributing to the expansion of both businesses by building up an effective development, manufacturing, and sales framework within the growing solar panel manufacturing equipment business. 2. Details of the business alliance

The devices that are developed will be sold through INTER ACTION’s sales department.
