Rikei Starts to Sell Apposite's Linktropy Series "Mini-G," Portable WAN Emulators Capable of Emulating Links up to 1 Gbps
Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Tetsuo Kuroda) would like to announce that it has started to sell the Linktropy series WAN emulator "Linktropy Mini-G" manufactured by Apposite Technologies, Inc., (Head Office: California, USA, President: DC Palter).
The new "Linktropy Mini-G" is an emulator designed to emulate WAN conditions such as delay, jitter*, and packet loss. The Mini-G is in the same product family as the existing portable WAN emulator "Linktropy Mini2," but a different model capable of handling up to 1 Gbps.
Because of its excellent portability, the Mini-G can be best used for demonstrations at customer sites and trade shows. It also requires less installation space, making it ideal for a wide range of applications such as in-house product testing.
Like Apposite’s other emulators, the Mini-G can also be operated and configured through an easy-to-use Web interface, even for first-time users.
We will promote and sell the new Linktropy Mini-G in addition to the existing models mainly to carriers, network equipment manufacturers, and system integrators.
