Type A and B are the most wide-spread communication systems for contactless smartcards in Europe and North America, whereas type C is standard in Japan. To further strengthen overseas competitiveness, LECIP Group is currently sharing knowledge of smartcard reader/writers with their Swedish subsidiary, and has started the development of type A and B readers in their main factory in Gifu, Japan. As a result of this transfer, LECIP will be able to concentrate the manufacturing of contactless smartcard readers (type A, B and C) for both overseas and domestic market to one place.
Striving to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the markets, LECIP Group will continue to work on solutions to shorten lead time of product development by improving efficiency in research and development.
