LECIP HOLDINGS CORPORATION (Motosu-shi, Gifu, Japan, President: Makoto Sugimoto) has established a new group company in Mexico on August 29, 2014.
The new company, LECIP S.A. de C.V., will promote sales within the markets of Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems for fixed route buses as well as Transit Management System (TMS) solutions. The aim is to further increase the competitiveness of LECIP group in the Mexican and North American markets

LECIP HOLDINGS CORPORATION (Motosu-shi, Gifu, Japan, President: Makoto Sugimoto) has established a new group company in Mexico on August 29, 2014.
The new company, LECIP S.A. de C.V., will promote sales within the markets of Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems for fixed route buses as well as Transit Management System (TMS) solutions. The aim is to further increase the competitiveness of LECIP group in the Mexican and North American markets. There are many buses in service in Mexico, and LECIP group expects a steady demand for AFC and TMS solutions. Mexico serves as a hub for transportation and logistics, and very likely the new company will play a major roll in the promotion of sales in neighbouring countries as well.
Many Japanese automobile manufacturers have already entered the Mexican market. Seeing this as another business opportunity, LECIP will also strive to increase sales of lightning solutions to the automobile industry.
A developer and distributor of integrated AFC, TMS and lighting solutions for the bus and rail industry, LECIP group offers a wide range of products and holds high market shares for many items in Japan. LECIP is also strengthening its presence abroad, and currently has sales companies and development bases in the USA, Singapore, Thailand, Sweden ,Slovenia, and Mexico.
Aiming to further increase overseas sales, LECIP will continue to strengthen its worldwide sales channels.
