Okuma President Yoshimaro Hanaki was awarded the 2014 (10th) JSPE Prize by the Japan Society for Precision Engineering.

The JSPE Prize is given to researchers and engineers for groundbreaking achievements in research, engineering, and education in the field of precision engineering.

The selection of Mr. Hanaki for the JSPE Prize is a source of pride for Okuma, which will continue to work to train personnel with high technical skills and for the development of "the world of monozukuri."
