Hawaii, United States; President: Toshio Kobayashi) has concluded a licensing agreement for onlinedistribution with Beatport, LLD. (based in Colorado, United States; CEO: Jonas Tempel). Details are asfollows.

Purpose of online distribution
Established in January 2004, Beatport (

) is one of the world’s most popular online
distributors of dance music. Contracting with Beatport to distribute dance music, the rights to overseasdistribution for which are held by Avex, will significantly boost overseas music development, for instancethrough participation in global dance music scenes and music promotion.

1. Start date: Wednesday, December 17, 20082. Contact point for licenses in the United States: Avex Hawaii, Inc. *Music cannot be purchased from Japan.3. Music to be distributed: dance music the rights for overseas distribution to which are held by the Company(to be distributed on an ongoing basis)4. Contents for the first launch: Music will be selected from the re-mixed albums of Ayumi Hamasakiayu-mi-x 6 –GOLD- and ayu-mi-x 6 –SILVER-. A total of 69 titles will be distributed, including those not yetrecorded on CD.
