This is to give notice as follows that in connection with the appeal ruling announced in the "Notice of Court Ruling in Connection with Lawsuit (Appeal Court)" dated January 29, 2015, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) confirmed that the Government of Japan has filed a petition for acceptance of final appeal with the Supreme Court of Japan.

2. Background to the filing of petition for acceptance of final appeal
In connection with lawsuit brought by FHI against the Government of Japan over claims of the balance of the initial investment fees associated with the AH-64D combat helicopter for the Japan Ministry of Defense, as announced in the "Notice of Court Ruling in Connection with Lawsuit (Appeal Court)" dated January 29, 2015, the Tokyo High Court in its appeal ruling upheld in almost all respects the claims of FHI.
The Government of Japan, as the appellee in the above-mentioned appeal, has filed a petition for acceptance of final appeal with the Supreme Court of Japan.

3. Further outlook
FHI will continue to argue the appropriateness of its claims in order to have the claims upheld also at the court of final appeal before the Supreme Court of Japan.
Notably, any effects of this lawsuit on the business results of FHI are currently indeterminate. Prompt notice will be given should any further matters for disclosure arise.
