SHIMA SEIKI to Exhibit at Egy Stitch & Tex

Leading computerized flat knitting machine manufacturer SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. of Wakayama, Japan will exhibit at the upcoming 6th Egy Stitch & Tex exhibition to be held in Cairo, Egypt later this month.

On display will be SHIMA SEIKI's new industry benchmark for computerized shaped knitting, SVR122. SVR features the latest SHIMA SEIKI technology, such as DSCS Digital Stitch Control System, full-time spring-loaded sinker system, stitch presser, yarn gripper and cutter and takedown comb among others. SSR112 is SHIMA SEIKI's entry-level computerized knitting machine that materializes the company's philosophy to offer the most advanced technology available at an affordable price. Made-in-Japan quality, reliability, productivity, user-friendliness and cost-performance combine to satisfy the high expectations of the world's fashion industry.

Also on display will be the latest version of its SDS-ONE APEX3 "all-in-one" 3D design system that supports all aspects of fashion design and production. At the core of SHIMA SEIKI's "Total Fashion System" concept, APEX3 offers comprehensive support of the apparel production process from planning and production to sales promotion. Ultra-realistic simulation capability allows Virtual Sampling to minimize the costly time- and resource-consuming sample-making process. APEX3 also supports design and simulation in a variety of other industries in addition to flat knitting such as circular knitting, weaving, pile weaving and printing.
