Nikon Corporation (Kazuo Ushida, President, Tokyo) today announced that the Meeting of its Board of Directors has decided to nominate new Directors and Officers at the Annual Shareholders' Meeting and the subsequent Meeting of the Board of Directors on June 29, 2016.

Regarding the transition to a Company with an Audit and Supervisory Committee, we separately disclosed in the “Notice Concerning Transition to a Company with an Audit and Supervisory Committee and Partial Amendments to the Articles of Incorporation” as of today.
