Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective October 1, 2016.

1. Organizational changes

Changes in the area of IT Solutions

Aims

• Facilitate the timely creation of high-quality IT solutions aimed at enhancing brand value and achieving qualitative business growth throughout Structural Reform Stage 2.

Details of the organizational changes

• Establish the Customer & Quality Systems Department to consolidate the functions of strategy development and planning for sales and customer management and quality management systems within the IT Solution Division.
• Rename the Business Systems Department as the Supply Chain Systems Department and integrate the functions of strategy development and planning for supply chain systems within the IT Solution Division.
• Rename the System Governance & Administration Department as the System Strategy & Administration Department, and integrate the functions of divisional administration and management as well as strategy development and planning for global IT and infrastructure systems within the IT Solution division.
• In line with the above changes, the Infrastructure System Department is abolished.
