Okuma employees who developed the control technology for shorter machining times and the maintenance of machining accuracy, a basic technology for SERVONAVI, received the 2016 (12th) Japan Society for Precision Engineering Young Engineer Award.
The Japan Society for Precision Engineering Young Engineer Award is given to up-and-coming researchers and engineers who have made significant achievements in the field of precision engineering with originality and foresight. It aims to both honor their efforts and devotion and heighten their strong motivation for research.
